Consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person at reception or over the telephone. Slots are available from 08:00 until 18:00 with extended hours offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We aim to offer routine appointments within two days however, if you wish to see a specific doctor or have time limitations, you may have to wait longer.

Urgent requests will be referred to the duty doctor who will contact you or arrange for you to be seen.

Please note that appointments are for 10 minutes duration for one patient and one medical problem. If other family members need to be seen you will need to make separate appointments. Similarly, if you feel you will need longer than 10 minutes, please advise reception when booking who can book you a double appointment.

Telephone Advice

If you feel that your problem could be dealt with over the telephone rather than by attending the surgery, please telephone and leave details and a contact number with reception. A doctor or nurse will call you back after morning surgery.

Practice Nurses and Pharmacist

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse or our in house pharmacist rather than a doctor. Practice nurses and our pharmacist are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Our pharmacist is able to issue medication for many minor ailments such as coughs, cold and sore throats.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
